What We Offer
Supporting Autistic Children: Emotion Regulation and Inclusive Classrooms
This practical and engaging training helps primary school staff understand how autistic children experience emotions and the classroom environment. Participants will learn to spot early signs of anxiety or distress, use simple co-regulation and self-regulation strategies, and adapt classroom routines to reduce sensory overload. With a focus on inclusion and belonging, staff will leave with practical tools and greater confidence to create calmer, more supportive learning environments where autistic pupils can thrive both emotionally and academically.

Focus Areas:
-
Understanding Autism & Emotions: How autistic children experience emotions differently and recognising early signs of anxiety, overwhelm, or distress.

"The training from Minds That Thrive was invaluable. It gave us practical strategies to support children with big emotions and helped staff feel more confident and calm in challenging moments. Several teachers have already noticed a positive impact in their classrooms. We’d highly recommend it to any school."
